Teele graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre with a degree in Music Education, specializing in Choral Conducting and Singing, having spent a year at the Royal Music Conservatory of Madrid. She has been singing in choirs since the age of three, including the Estonian Television Children’s Choir, EAMT Mixed Choir and the Grammy winning Ellerhein Girls’ Choir.
Teele currently conducts several female choirs in Estonia as well as singing with various professional groups around Europe such as Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and Chamber Choir of Europe among others. She also works as a music teacher in many Estonian schools and has given masterclasses, workshops and trainings globally, including a six month tour of the United States of America with the Singers of United Lands, and a two month tour of South Africa where she worked with children in all circumstances.
Teele has represented Estonia in the World Youth Choir eight times since 2006, with past highlights including the Olympic Opening Ceremonies in Hong Kong and the Nobel Peace Prize Award Ceremony in December 2011. She has sung and worked with every major composer, conductor and professional music group in Estonia and has toured and performed in over forty different countries. Teele has also shared the stage with artists like Michael Jackson, Darmon Meader of the New York Voices, and Bobby McFerrin. Teele is a founding member of the Time Ensemble.
