Barbara Schandl studied voice, piano and music education at the University of music and performing arts, Vienna as well as sports education at the University of Vienna. She worked as a vocal teacher in several music schools in Lower Austria and at the Conservatory Sunrise Studios Vienna. As a choir conductor she worked with children’s choirs in the musical project Superar. She is a regular guest teacher at vocal courses, workshops and seminars and coaches several choirs in Vienna including the Mädchenchor of the Vienna Boys Choir. Besides her frequent concert activities as a soprano soloist and choir singer with groups like the Arnold Schoenberg Chor she is an aspiring actress, who has already performed in several productions, for example at TheaterArche.
